Why should I have my wedding rings custom made?
Well, it is a fun process! Why not infuse your wedding rings with your own ideas and spirit, a design reflecting your personal lifestyle and tastes. Instead of a cookie-cutter ring, mass produced in a factory, you have a ring that tells your story, designed with personal attention, integrity and artistry.
How do I start?
Just give us a call and arrange an appointment to meet with Paula. She’ll walk you through the rest of the process. It’s that simple. Bring your ideas – or no ideas at all. Together you and Paula will determine what design, metal and gemstones suit you best. It’s that easy!
Should I use a diamond, a colored gemstone, or both?
You can do whatever you choose. While designing with Paula, you can choose form a selection of gemstones and diamonds that best suit your style ideas and budget. With no obligation, we can order this selection of stones for your approval. What fun!
Can I incorporate my own gemstones and diamonds into a design?
Of course you can. Often incorporating sentimental heirloom stones in a custom piece of jewelry make it that much more special.
Is custom jewelry something I can afford?
We will work with you and your budget to provide you with the best custom design experience possible. Having an idea of what kind of investment is in your comfort zone would be helpful before we begin. The cost of raw materials and gemstones fluctuate. Our labor charge is based on years of artistic experience and expertise. We will always provide you with a reasonable and realistic estimate of cost for every commission.
Will you melt down and use my gold or silver?
We will be happy to credit you the market scrap value of your used metal. We do not reuse old metal because impurities found in the metal (solder, unidentified alloys etc.) often cause porosity and weakness in the newly cast design. We do not want you to have any imperfections in your new piece of jewelry.
